Idiot-proof pizza sauce

Idiot proof. That sums up most of the food I make. Cause let's face it; cooking can be hard.
So I have this friend, and one day she asked me, "what is clove garlic?"
And of course I found it hilarious that she thought that garlic was something different from clove garlic, when actually cloves of garlic is just a measurement.
I still laugh just thinking about it.
And so this recipe is dedicated to her. It's idiot proof, and has tons of "clove garlic."
And yes, I will still like you, even if you don't know what garlic is called.😉
On to the recipe...
So first find some fat, plump juicy tomatoes to slice. Toss them with some garlic(!!), olive oil, basil, salt and cayenne pepper.
Then, place them in a hot pan. Cook until slightly gushy then flip. Cook some more.

Then, just smash them up in a bowl. I was making pizza, and so I just smashed it on the crust, topped it with toppings and popped it in the oven. You could also smash it in a bowl and toss with hot pasta. It's a really quick and easy was to get a scrumptious sauce made in no time at all.

Idiot proof pizza sauce:
2 fat tomatoes, sliced
2 medium cloves garlic, minced
Basil, rosemary and oregano, dried or fresh (to taste)
Salt
Pinch of cayenne
2 tablespoons olive oil

Gently toss together all ingredients. Please tomatoes in a pan and cook for about 3 min. Flip tomatoes and cook for another two minutes. Mash tomatoes for a chunky sauce, or blend for a smooth sauce. Enjoy!

Xoxo,
Meggi
